Trump campaign names Max Miller to head up advance & rallies

President Donald J. Trump’s re-election campaign today named Max Miller to the post of Deputy Campaign Manager for Presidential Operations. Miller will be responsible for all campaign events that include the involvement of the President, Vice President Mike Pence, or other notable figures.  Miller moves over from the White House, where he had been deputy assistant to the President leading the advance team, and will report to Campaign Manager Brad Parscale and Deputy Campaign Manager Bill Stepien.

Trump Campaign Names Hogan Gidley National Press Secretary

President Donald J. Trump’s campaign today announced that Hogan Gidley has been named national press secretary and will move from the Administration to the re-election effort on July 1.  Gidley has served as White House principal deputy press secretary since January 2019 and has been in the White House communications office since October 2017.  Gidley replaces Kayleigh McEnany, who left the campaign to become White House press secretary in April of this year. 

“Hogan Gidley has been at the President’s side for three years and now he joins the fight to re-elect him,” said Brad Parscale, Trump 2020 campaign manager.  “He is a talented advocate and defender of the President and his policies and is never afraid to go into battle with hostile reporters and television hosts. Hogan is a great addition to the team and makes us even stronger.”

Donald J. Trump for President Announces Additional Staff

Arlington, VA – Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. today announced new additions to the campaign by naming five accomplished professionals to the team to re-elect the President.  Campaign Manager Brad Parscale announced Hannah Castillo as Director of Coalitions, Kimberly Guilfoyle as Senior Advisor, Marty Obst as Senior Strategist for Vice Presidential Operations, Samantha Menh as Director of Vice Presidential Operations, and Nathan Groth as In-House Counsel.

Hannah Castillo, Director of Coalitions: Castillo joins the campaign from the White House Office of Public Liaison, where she served as Associate Director.  Previously, she was the Campaign Manager for a city council race in San Diego, California where she was named Campaign Manager of the Year by The Republican Party of San Diego.  Castillo has also served as the Deputy Director of Hispanic Initiatives at the Republican National Committee and Hispanic Engagement Director for the Republican Party of Virginia.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University. 

Kimberly Guilfoyle, Senior Advisor: 
Guilfoyle is a former star of the Fox News show “The Five” and a well-known conservative commentator.  Before joining the campaign, she served as Vice Chairwoman of the preeminent Super PAC supporting the President, America First Action.  Before her more than a decade as one of Fox News’ most recognizable faces, Guilfoyle spent several years as the Assistant District Attorney in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

Marty Obst, Senior Strategist for Vice Presidential Operations:
 Obst most recently served as Senior Political Advisor to Vice President Mike Pence and as Chairman of the Vice President’s leadership political action committee, Great America Committee.  He also served as Director of Vice Presidential Operations for Trump-Pence 2016.  Obst served in a senior capacity on numerous political campaigns, including as Campaign Manager for Governor Mike Pence’s re-election and as a consultant for the Republican Governors Association, Boehner for Speaker, and the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Samantha Menh, Director of Vice Presidential Operations:
 Menh most recently served as Executive Director of Vice President Pence’s leadership political action committee, Great America Committee, National Embed Strategist to Salem Media Representatives, and National Consultant to Greg Pence Victory.   She has served in a variety of political, finance, and strategic advisory positions, including serving as Regional Development Officer for Americans for Prosperity and as a member of the PAC fundraising team at The Townsend Group.  Menh also held the position of personal aide to the Honorable Paul Ryan and his family during the 2012 presidential campaign and served as an intern in then-Congressman Ryan’s Washington D.C. office.
    
Nathan Groth, In-House Counsel: Groth previously served as Associate Counsel for the Republican National Committee, where he advised the organization’s leadership, as well as state parties, on a broad array of legal matters including FEC compliance and contract drafting and review.  He also served as Associate Counsel for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee to plan and permit public events for the inauguration.  During law school, Groth served as a law clerk for then-Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s presidential campaign committee and later served as a legal extern in the Walker administration’s Office of Legal Counsel.  He received his law degree from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Government from Lawrence University.

Donald J. Trump for President Announces Additional Communications Staff

Three Deputy Communications Directors to oversee Press, Research, Rapid Response

Arlington, VA – Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. today announced the hiring of three Deputy Directors of Communications who will help shape the message for the President’s re-election campaign. Zach Parkinson will guide research efforts; Erin Perrine will focus on daily interactions with the press; and Matt Wolking will lead the rapid response team. The three will begin work at the campaign later this month.

Zach Parkinson
Zach Parkinson will serve as the Deputy Director of Communications spearheading the campaign’s comprehensive research operation. He joins the campaign after working for more than two years in the White House Communications office, where he most recently served as Deputy Director of Government Communications, coordinating messaging efforts between the White House, the Cabinet, and Members of Congress. Previously, Parkinson was Deputy Director and Associate Director of Research at the White House, and during the 2016 election cycle he was a senior analyst on the Republican National Committee’s research team. He started his career on Capitol Hill, working for Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) after graduating from the Johns Hopkins University.

Erin Perrine

Erin Perrine will serve as the Deputy Director of Communications dealing with the press. She is a veteran Capitol Hill communicator having just served as National Press Secretary for House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Prior to working for Leader McCarthy, Perrine served as Press Secretary for Sen. John Thune (R-SD) in his leadership office at the Senate Republican Conference. She previously worked on the 2010 campaign of Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and the congressional campaign of former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) in 2012. She is a native of Rochester, NY and graduated from the University of Connecticut.

Matt Wolking

Matt Wolking will serve as the Deputy Director of Communications leading the campaign's aggressive rapid response team, refuting attacks and exposing the fake news media. He joins the campaign from the office of Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), where he served as Communications Director. A graduate of Patrick Henry College, Wolking has had a seven-year career in senior communications roles on Capitol Hill, including for Rep. Tim Griffin (R-AR), Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), the House Select Committee on Benghazi, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). Prior to working in Congress, he was executive producer of the Laura Ingraham Show, a nationally syndicated radio program.

Cole Blocker will join the campaign to serve as Director of Finance, and Megan Powers will serve as Director of Administrative Operations.

Tim Murtaugh, Director of Communications
 
Tim Murtaugh will oversee the campaign’s communications, building a team to oversee message strategy and planning, regional communications, contrast messaging and rapid response. He joins the campaign after two years as Director of Communications for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s 60-person communications team, working daily with Secretary Sonny Perdue. Murtaugh has worked for decades in state and national politics, in senior roles at the Republican National Committee, Republican Governors Association, and numerous political campaigns. He also served as Communications Director for Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA) and Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Murtaugh cut his teeth as a Virginia news reporter, before serving as Press Secretary for George Allen’s successful 2000 Senate campaign and as Communications Director for Virginia Attorney General Jerry Kilgore.
 
Kayleigh McEnany, National Press Secretary
 
Kayleigh McEnany will serve as National Press Secretary, coming to the campaign after serving as National Spokesperson for the Republican National Committee. A frequent guest on national television, McEnany was a CNN political contributor, columnist for Above The Law, and has written for various publications spanning the news spectrum, from Newsmax to CNN.com. McEnany graduated from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctor and Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a BSFS in International Politics.  She also studied politics and international relations at Oxford University, St. Edmund Hall.  She recently authored the book The New American Revolution: The Making of a Populist Movement.
 
Marc Lotter, Director of Strategic Communications
 
Marc Lotter will serve as a campaign surrogate, build support for the President’s message and grow the largest grassroots and national surrogate team in political history. Lotter served as a Special Assistant to the President and Press Secretary to Vice President Mike Pence during the first year of the Trump Administration. Prior to joining the administration, he served as Press Secretary to the Vice President during the 2016 presidential campaign and transition. A frequent surrogate for the White House on national and cable news shows, Lotter worked in top communications roles in Indiana State and local government for years, following a 13-year career as an award-winning producer and manager for television stations across the country.
 
Cole Blocker, Director of Finance
 
Cole Blocker will focus on building a nationwide fundraising organization to support the campaign and its joint fundraising efforts with the Republican National Committee. Blocker joins the campaign from the White House, where he served in the East Wing as the Deputy Director of the White House Visitor’s Office, which oversaw official White House events, such as the Easter Egg Roll, attended by President Trump, Vice President Pence and other government officials. During the 2016 campaign, Blocker supported now Ambassador Robert Wood “Woody” Johnson IV in his role as Finance Vice Chairman for Trump Victory 2016, planning and executing finance events across the country. Blocker is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.
 
Megan Powers, Director of Administrative Operations
 
Megan Powers will work on campaign operations, joining the efforts of Chief Operations Officer Michael Glassner. She joins the campaign from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), where she served as Senior Adviser and Press Secretary. Prior to her tenure at NASA, Powers served as Senior Lead Press Representative for the White House, organizing logistics for the press pool during the President’s domestic travel. Powers was among the first officials to join the President’s nascent campaign in May 2015, serving as National Campaign Coordinator and Press Advance Lead for events throughout the country, and organizing operations for the campaign’s New York City headquarters. Powers is a graduate of New York University.

Todd Ricketts Named Finance Chairman of Trump Victory Committee

WASHINGTON — Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) and Donald J. Trump for President campaign announced that Todd Ricketts will join the Trump Victory Committee, a joint fundraising committee between the RNC and the Donald J. Trump for President campaign, as its finance chairman.
 
Ricketts has served as RNC finance chairman since January 2018, spearheading the committee’s record-breaking fundraising work for the midterm cycle. He played a critical role in fundraising for President Trump ahead of the 2016 election.

Nick Trainer most recently served the Administration as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Regional Political Operations in the White House. Nick is a veteran of the Republican National Committee and multiple state parties. Joshua Findlay, Regional Director of Delegates and Party Organization

Josh Findlay joins the campaign with a decade of successful experience at the statewide, congressional, and local levels.  Josh most recently served as the RNC State Director in Georgia, and previously served as the Chief Legal Counsel and District Director for his hometown representative, Congressman Jody Hice. In 2013 Josh co-founded War Room Strategies, a full-service political consulting firm with clients at all levels of government throughout the eastern United States.  Josh is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, as well as Brigham Young University.

David Huguenel, Regional Director of Delegates and Party Organization

David Huguenel has over 12 years of political experience, working on local, state, and federal elections in Louisiana, New Jersey, Oregon, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Most recently, David served as a Vice President at Jamestown Associates, an award-winning media and political consulting firm, where he worked on successful campaigns across the country. He is a Fellow at the Loyola Institute of Politics and has contributed to published political research at the University of New Orleans. David is a Louisiana native. 

Ashley Walukevich, Regional Director of Delegates and Party Organization

Ashley Walukevich recently spent the 2018 election cycle as the New Hampshire State Director for the Republican National Committee. Before joining the RNC, Ashley worked for the New Hampshire Republican State Committee, and spent several years working for Senator Susan Collins in her DC and Maine Offices, and assisted with securing her reelection in 2014. She spent the 2012 cycle working for the Florida Republican Party as a Field Director for Governor Romney's Presidential Campaign. PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD J. TRUMP NAMES CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE OF DONALD J. TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT, INC.

(New York, NY) - President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced key personnel to oversee Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. Leading this Campaign Committee will be Michael Glassner as Executive Director, Sean Dollman as Operations Director, and John Pence as Deputy Executive Director. 

Michael Glassner will serve as the Executive Director. Glassner joined Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. in July of 2015. During the campaign, Glassner oversaw national ground and political operations, and later served as a Deputy Campaign Manager. He has also served as senior staff on numerous Republican presidential campaigns. Michael resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children.

Sean Dollman will serve as Operations Director. Dollman is a Purple Heart Recipient, who served in the United States Army with the 3rd Infantry Division and subsequently graduated with two degrees in Finance and Management and a minor in Marketing from Northern Arizona University. He currently serves as the Deputy Treasurer of Administration for the State of Arizona.

John Pence will serve as Deputy Executive Director. John joined the campaign in August of 2016. As a Hoosier native, John has worked in both state and federal government. A nephew of Vice President-Elect Mike Pence, John holds a B.A. from The College of William & Mary and a J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.

The Campaign Committee will continue to operate in Trump Tower.
