Republican Party of Wisconsin 2020 State Convention Preview

The Republican Party of Wisconsin is ‘Leading the Way to Victory’ for President Donald Trump and Republicans down the ballot

[Madison, WI] – The Republican Party of Wisconsin will host its annual state convention on in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Saturday, marking the party’s commitment to ‘Leading the Way to Victory’ in November.

Leaders from “Women for Trump” will speak at the convention on behalf of President Trump’s campaign. Additional speakers include Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, Rep. Glenn Grothman, Rep. Mike Gallagher, Rep. Bryan Steil and newly elected Rep. Tom Tiffany. Yuri Maltsev, a professor of economics at Carthage College, will speak at convention and address the dangers that socialism poses to the United States. The convention will also include two panels addressing Republican priorities in the Wisconsin State Legislature and conservative policy in Wisconsin.

“Wisconsinites will see a clear choice following the Republican Party of Wisconsin’s convention in Green Bay,” said Andrew Hitt, Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “As Wisconsinites, we will have a choice between President Trump who believes in freedom, economic opportunity, and the rule of law or Joe Biden who believes that the government is the solution to all our problems and is looking for every opportunity to ensure that government bureaucrats.”

Trump Campaign Announces Wisconsin Women for Trump: Bus Tour

On Thursday, July 9 through Saturday, July 11, Women for Trump will host a bus tour featuring Trump 2020 Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications Mercedes Schlapp, Trump 2020 Senior Advisor Katrina Pierson, National Co-Chair of Women for Trump and Former Florida Attorney General the Honorable Pam Bondi, and Women for Trump Advisory Board Member Penny Nance. The bus tour will travel throughout Wisconsin and engage voters through roundtables, meet-and-greets, and sit-downs with business owners and local leaders across the state.

WisGOP Statement on President Trump’s Historic Investment in Marinette Marine

[Madison, WI] – In response to President Donald J. Trump’s visit to Wisconsin, the Republican Party of Wisconsin issued the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt:

“President Trump’s visit to Wisconsin today highlights how committed the Trump Administration is to military strength and economic investment when we need it the most. The Trump Administration’s contract with Marinette Marine represents a significant investment in Wisconsin’s economy and creates thousands of jobs in Wisconsin and the Midwest. While Democrats try to diminish what economic investment and jobs mean for Wisconsin families, President Trump is focused on what’s best for the American people.”
