REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MARK SANFORD MOVING CAMPAIGN TO THE GRANITE STATE
BELIEVES NEW HAMPSHIRE VOTERS AT THE EPI-CENTER OF AMERICA’S POLITICAL LANDSCAPE

CHARLESTON, SC (OCT. 30, 2019): Republican Presidential candidate and former South Carolina Governor and U.S. Representative Mark Sanford is moving “home base” to New Hampshire beginning Monday, November 4, 2019. Governor Sanford plans to spend November and much of his time leading up to the New Hampshire Republican primary in the Granite State.

“New Hampshire is the political epi-center of our nation and its voters’ cares and concerns are representative of citizens across our great country,” commented Sanford. “I like New Hampshire’s state motto of “Live Free or Die” and the way it reflects the independence exercised by our Founding Fathers and their belief in freedom. It can’t be sustained adding debt and spending the way we are now, and in this light the voters of New Hampshire have the chance to send a message to the rest of the country on its importance. This is what my campaign is based on, and I look forward to anchoring this conversation in New Hampshire.”

In addition to highlighting debt, deficit and spending, Sanford’s campaign is rooted in core campaign priorities - like the importance of the Founders’ design of an institutional framework for government and a civil tone in holding our political system together and getting things done. Governor Sanford has spent the past several months travelling across the country talking with voters about where we are as a nation and where we are going. Most recently he completed a week long, 3,500-mile, 11 state road trip; a coast-to-coast conversation “Kids, We’re Broke and We Don’t Even Know It” road trip.
