Forbes Under 30 Summit in Detroit to Feature Republican Presidential Candidate Debate

At its flagship 2019 Under 30 Summit on Monday, Oct. 28, Forbes will host a Republican presidential candidate debate, featuring former governor of Massachusetts Bill Weld, former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh, and former governor of South Carolina and U.S. representative Mark Sanford. With political tensions reaching an all-time high amid calls for President Trump’s impeachment, the debate will provide a platform for all three GOP candidates to discuss why they’re vying to unseat their own party leader, and how they plan to accomplish it. The Republican Debate at the Under 30 Summit, co-moderated by Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer at Forbes and Daniela Pierre-Bravo, Producer at MSNBC’s Morning Joe and Author, “Earn It!”, is a chance for the three candidates to appeal to millennials and entrepreneurs.

In addition to the Republican debate at the #Under30Summit event, on Tuesday morning Michelle Kwan, retired American figure skater and two-time Olympic medalist, will lead a group yoga session where Summit attendees and speakers can practice mindfulness and physical relaxation to start the day.

In addition, Quavo, rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer best known as a member of Migos, has been confirmed as a speaker. Quavo joins the ranks of other notable celebrities and entrepreneurs including World Famous Athlete & CEO Serena Williams, NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, Actress and Activist Olivia Munn, Quicken Loans CEO Jay Farner, Actress and Detroit Blows Cofounder Sophia Bush, Detroit Pistons Star Player Blake Griffin, Olympian Adam Rippon, Founder & CEO of Poshmark Manish Chandra, and TV Personality, Actor & Chef Antoni Porowski.
