Permanent
Select
Committee
on Intelligence began public hearings on
November 13 and heard from three witnesses earlier in the day (+).
Buttigieg
was
expected
to
draw
fire
after
a
Real
Clear
Politics
poll average through November 19 showed him
leading in Iowa (>),
but
he
emerged
unscathed.
Excluded
candidates
were
Bennet,
Bullock, Castro, Delaney, Patrick, Sestak, and
Williamson. Warren
led in speaking time at 13:23 followed by Buttigieg and Biden; Yang had
the least speaking time at 6:43.

Viewership was the lowest of the Democratic debates thus far, 6.5 million viewers overall. Many observers attributed this to viewers being saturated by the impeachment hearings.
