Overview:
The
major
story line out of this debate was the differences between the
more progressive candidates Warren and Sanders and more centrist /
moderate candidates, notably Delaney, Hickenlooper and Ryan.
Warren had the most speaking time, more than 18 minutes, and Williamson
the least, less than 9 minutes.

The viewing audience was much smaller than
for the first debate. According to Nielsen Fast National data,
8.7 million total TV viewers watched the debate, making it "CNN’s
second highest Democratic debate on record (after Las Vegas, Oct.
2015)." There were also 2.8 million digital live streams.
