More direct democracy. Enact policies that give people - not corporations and the well-connected - the real power in our democracy. That includes making it easier to vote, ending gerrymandering, getting rid of the influence of money in politics, instituting a national referendum, and passing term limits for members of Congress.

5 Rights. Give all Americans five new constitutional rights to ensure we all get an opportunity to thrive, not just those at the top: The right to an equal vote in a fair democracy; the right to clean air and clean water; the right to learn, from pre-K through college and advanced skills training; the right to earn a living wage; and the right to health and universal health care.

Different kind of campaign. Committed to beating Trump no matter who wins the nomination, Tom will continue to fund the largest youth voter registration and turnout effort in our nation's history, and run a grassroots campaign to reach out to working families and people of color.

Declare climate crisis a 'National Emergency.' On Day One in office, Tom will invoke presidential emergency powers to reverse the damage Trump has done. Tom supports the Green New Deal and other bold climate solutions to make America a leader again and spur a green economy.
