OUR VISION

GUARANTEE UNIVERSAL, HIGH-QUALITY HEALTH CARE so everyone can see a doctor, achieved by giving every American and business the choice to enroll in Medicare while letting Americans keep the plans they like.

TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE HEAD ON, end our dependence on fossil fuels, advance renewable energy jobs and technologies, and invest in poor and minority communities that have so often borne the brunt of climate change.

HONOR OUR NATION'S IMMIGRANT ROOTS, allow for lawful asylum, make Dreamers U.S. citizens, stop family separations, and bring more of our fellow Americans out of the shadows so they can contribute even more to our country's success.

INVEST IN A WORLD-CLASS PRE-K THROUGH 12 PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM, ensure that we are paying our educators a living wage, achieve true equity in our schools, and ensure students graduate college and career ready.

PROVIDE DEBT-FREE HIGHER EDUCATION, the opportunity to refinance student loans, and free community college so young people can learn technical skills or earn degrees that allow them to pursue careers that provide purpose and a real paycheck without being saddled with a lifetime of debt.

STRENGTHEN UNIONS, ensure a path to apprenticeships and careers that can support a family, and finally guarantee that one job is enough by paying every working American a true living wage.

PROTECT OUR DEMOCRACY by passing a new Voting Rights Act that banishes big money from our politics, ends gerrymandering, combats discriminatory voter ID laws, and enacts same-day and automatic voter registration in every part of the country.

TAKE CARE OF THOSE WHO SERVED OUR COUNTRY by ending veteran homelessness, investing in treatments for conditions unique to combat and service, addressing a crisis in veteran suicide, and ensuring we end wars when there is no definition of victory or strategy to achieve it.

INVEST IN RURAL AMERICA by partnering with rural America to improve infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and broadband internet, and make sure farmers can make a profit while they grow the food and fiber that feeds and clothes so much of the world.

GUARANTEE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR EVERY AMERICAN by achieving equal pay for women and paid family leave, ending discrimination in the workplace, passing the Equality Act, and providing access to capital for communities that have been effectively shut out of capital, home loans and wealth for generations.

REFORM OUR CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM by ending the federal prohibition on marijuana, expunging the records of those arrested solely for possession, eliminating private, for-profit prisons, ending cash bail, and confronting the true legacy of segregation and suppression.
