"If you feel stuck in the middle of the extremes in our politics and you are tired of the noise and the nonsense, you've got a home with me.

"Because I don't want to be the president for half of America, I want to be the president for all of America."

Amy Klobuchar

"There's an old story of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and when he died, his body was put on a train and went across America. There was a guy standing by those tracks–he had his hat on his chest and he was sobbing. A reporter asked, 'Sir, did you know the president?' And the guy says, no, 'I didn't know the president, but he knew me.'

"He knew me. I will tell you this, there is a complete lack of empathy in this guy in the White House right now. I will bring that to you.

"If you have trouble stretching your paycheck to pay for the rent, I know you and I will fight for you.

If you have trouble figuring out if you're going to fill your refrigerator or fill your prescription drugs, I know you and I will fight for you.

"I'm asking you to believe that someone who totally believes in America can win this because if you are so tired of the extremes in our politics and the noise and the nonsense, you have a home with me."  Amy

If you want a president who will lower the cost of prescription drugs, tackle climate change and make college more affordable, you need a Democrat who can win the White House, help take the Senate and bring people with her.

Amy has passed more than 100 bills as the lead Democrat, more than anyone who's in Congress and running for president.

In 2018, Amy Klobuchar won 42 counties carried by Donald Trump and led a statewide sweep in Minnesota. She can win in places like New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

The granddaughter of an iron-ore miner, the daughter of a newspaperman and a union teacher, Amy has the grit and sensibility America needs.

Amy's not afraid to look people in the eye, tell the truth, bring people together and get big things done.

Amy Klobuchar's grandpa worked 1,500 feet underground in the mines and saved money in a coffee can to send Amy's dad to college.

Amy's dad worked as a newspaperman and her mom was a proud union member who taught second grade until she was 70 years old.

All her life, Amy has taken on big challenges, told people what she thinks and gotten things done.

Amy Klobuchar can beat Donald Trump and get big things done.

The New York Times endorses Amy Klobuchar

"The senator from Minnesota is the very definition of Midwestern charisma, grit and sticktoitiveness. Her lengthy tenure in the Senate and bipartisan credentials would make her a deal maker (a real one) and uniter for the wings of the party – and perhaps the nation."

Amy Klobuchar wins elections and gets things done:

#1. Vanderbilt University ranked Amy the most effective Democratic U.S. Senator in the 115th Congress.

100+ Amy has passed over 100 bills as the lead Democrat that were signed into law.

42. Number of Minnesota counties Donald Trump carried in 2016 that Amy won in 2018.

ed. note: This is a very different brochure than the campaign's initial mainstay lit piece. It does have some of the same language but focuses much more on biography than the initial brochure, which has a significant policy focus.  In addition an excerpt from the New York Times endorsement is added.
