Hey, I'm Senator Cory Booker and I'm running for president.

I was raised by parents who had to work with volunteer lawyers and civil rights activists to fight discrimination just to buy the house I grew up in. Together, they changed the course of my entire life.

Throughout my career, as a tenants' rights advocate, mayor of New Jersey's largest city and now a U.S. senator–I've learned that change only gets made when people join together.

That's why I'm running for president. I believe that by working together and uniting in common purpose we can do more than just beat Donald Trump: we can heal our country, expand opportunity, and deliver justice for every American.
