The threat of climate change and our economy's reliance on fossil
fuels, which continue to grow with Trump's policies, put the health,
safety, and industries of Minnesotans at risk.
- Minnesota is one of the fastest-warming states in the
country and is expected to see increases in both extreme rainfall and
drought.
- There have been 8 "mega-rain" events since 2000. These
intense rainfalls can lead to flash floodirg.
- Annual precipitation is expected to increase state-wide,
with more intense rainfalls to put Minnesotans in danger of flash
flooding.
