Joe worked tirelessly with President Obama to pass the Affordable Care Act. Joe will protect and build on the Affordable Care Act with a Medicare-­like public option. His plan will give Americans more choice, reduce health care and prescription drug costs, and make our health care system less complex to navigate

lnvesting in Education:
Joe understands that investing in education is investing in our future. Joe will triple Title I funding, increase teacher pay, and appoint a public school teacher as Secretary of Education. And, Joe will offer free, universal pre-K to all three- and four­-year-olds, so that no matter your zip code, racee, gender, or parent's income you have a fair shot.

Protecting Civil Rights:
Joe knows that civil rights for so many Americans are still under attack today. Building on his long commitment to civil rights and racial equality, Joe will restore the Voting Rights Act, reform our criminal justice system, and commit to creating a more equitable society for all. Joe secured extensions of the Voting Rights Act and fought to close the sentencing disparity.
