The Trump Administration encourages a merit-based, race-neutral college admissions process.

President Trump Is the Champion For Recognizing All Service For The Country
President Trump signed the "Hmong Veterans' Service Recognition Act," authorizing burial in any open national cemetery of Hmong veterans that fought for the U.S. during the Vietnam War.

President Trump signed the "Chinese American World War II Veterans Congressional Gold Medal Act" (51050; H.R. 2358) into law in 2018. This legislation is dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and services of Chinese American servicemembers to our country during World War II.
