8 CANDIDATES*: Biden, Booker, Buttigieg, de Blasio, Delaney, Gillibrand, Harris, Klobuchar, Ryan.
*9 if one counts Ami Horowitz, a conservative "running for president so I can crash next month's Democratic debate stage and tell them why their policies are terrible."

Background:  Candidates appeared over two days.  They speak for 8-10 minutes and took questions from Urban League president Marc Morial for about 5-7 minutes.

The inclusion of Horowitz is odd; according to a spokesperson, NUL "invited every candidate who announced. There was no polling threshold."
