Black Church Presidential Candidate Conversation Series

 

Friday, August 16, 2019 and Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, GA.

5 CANDIDATES: Booker, Buttigieg, Castro, Sanders, Warren.

Background:  This event, organized by the Black Church PAC, was a relatively rare forum involving the faith community and provided participating candidates to the opportunity to address an audience of thousands of African American millennials attending the Young Leaders Conference.  Castro, Buttigieg and Booker spoke on Friday and Sanders and Warren spoke on Saturday.  Candidates had 20 minutes on stage; they made opening remarks and then sat down and fielded questions.
