Ahead of Pence’s Visit to Florida, DNC Unveils New Billboards Slamming the Trump Administration’s Failed COVID-19 Response

Today, the Democratic National Committee is unveiling new billboards in Orlando and the Villages ahead of Pence’s events in Florida this weekend, highlighting how Trump’s failed coronavirus response has hurt Floridians -- leading to more than 15,000 Floridians’ deaths and millions of lost jobs in the state.

The billboards, located on US Highway 441 West near The Villages and at the intersection of Hiawassee Road and Colonial Drive in Orlando, will reach voters in the geographical area around Pence’s events starting on Saturday and run through the weekend.

“Voters across Orlando and in the Villages won’t be able to miss this message: Trump’s failed, incompetent coronavirus response has cost too many Floridians their lives and livelihoods,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “When Pence comes to the state, he’ll be greeted by the consequences of the Trump administration’s record: spiking COVID-19 cases, workers who have lost their jobs and are worried about where their next paycheck will come from, and Floridians concerned Trump will rip away their health care coverage in the middle of a pandemic. And that record of failure is why so many Floridians of every political persuasion will be voting Trump out of office.”

Earlier today, the Florida Democratic Party hosted a virtual press conference with Former Senator Bill Nelson, State Senator Linda Stewart, Yolanda Russell, president of the Democratic Senior Caucus of Florida and Lorraine Tuliano, president of the Orlando Chapter of the Florida Alliance for Retired Americans, to discuss the Trump administration’s failed record with seniors, including his incompetent response to the coronavirus crisis and his broken promises on Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other crucial issues facing seniors in Florida.

Ahead of Trump Visit to Nevada, DNC Unveils New Billboards Blasting Trump’s Failed Pandemic Response

With early voting underway, digital billboards in Reno, Carson City, and in Las Vegas across from Trump International Hotel will highlight how Trump’s failures have hurt Nevada families

Ahead of Donald Trump’s visit to Carson City today, the Democratic National Committee is unveiling a slate of new digital billboards in northern and southern Nevada to highlight Trump’s failed pandemic response, which has resulted in over 89,000 coronavirus cases and taken more than 1,700 lives statewide.

The billboards in northern Nevada, located on U.S. Highway 50 in Carson City and on Interstate 580 in South Reno, will run today and greet many of the Nevadans traveling to Trump’s event. The billboard in southern Nevada, located between the Sahara Avenue exit off Interstate 15 and Las Vegas Boulevard, is less than two miles from Trump International Hotel and near the Las Vegas Strip.

“Voters across Nevada won’t miss this message: Trump’s ineffective, incompetent coronavirus response has cost too many Nevadans their lives and their livelihoods,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “As Trump arrives in state today, he’ll be greeted by the consequences of his failed record -- hundreds of thousands of Nevadans out of jobs, working families struggling to make ends meet, and people who are frightened that Trump will rip away their health care coverage in the middle of a pandemic. The last thing Nevada needs right now is Trump dropping in to hold another reckless rally to distract from his broken promises. With early voting underway across Nevada, Trump’s political stunt today will remind voters exactly what they don’t like about him as they head to the polls to hold him accountable for his failures.”

Earlier today, the Nevada State Democratic Party hosted a press event with U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen at East Las Vegas Community Center to lay out the case for rejecting Donald Trump’s failed record as voters across the state cast their ballots.

DNC Unveils New Billboard Over Downtown Phoenix Highlighting Trump’s Failed COVID Response

New high-profile billboard will reach voters with the message, “This administration failed us,” and direct them to www.iwillvote.com

Today, the DNC is unveiling a new billboard in Phoenix, Arizona that will run through Election Day and encourage voters to hold Trump accountable for his failed COVID response by making their voices heard at the ballot box.

Located on top of the CityScape complex just blocks away from Chase Field and the Phoenix Convention Center, the new digital billboard will reach voters in a high foot-traffic area in the core of downtown Phoenix with the message, “This Administration Failed Us,” and direct them to www.iwillvote.com -- the DNC’s one-stop shop to help voters make a plan to vote.

“Voters across Phoenix won’t be able to miss this message: Trump had four years to deliver on his promises to Arizonans, but he’s come up empty-handed at every turn,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “Working families in Phoenix and across Arizona have paid the price for Trump’s incompetence with their lives and their livelihoods. That’s why Arizonans of every political persuasion are going to send Trump a message tomorrow by rejecting his failed record and making him a one-term president.”

The new billboard is part of the DNC’s larger out-of-home advertising campaign across Arizona to reach voters with information about making their plan to vote through high-impact, targeted ad placements using unconventional tactics, including aerial banners, chalk stencils on city sidewalks, double-decker wrapped busses, mobile billboards, print ads inside barbershops and salons, and digital point-of-sale systems.
