Male Announcer:
He's
a
Rhodes
scholar, a successful mayor, a uniter.
[garble SFX, different music] No, not that guy.
It's Cory Booker.
As Mayor, Cory made Newark's schools number one for beating the odds.
He passed criminal justice reform in a Republican Senate.
And as president, he'll expand healthcare coverage, legalize
marijuana and fight the NRA.
Cory doesn't just talk. He brings peple together to make
things happen.
This Rhodes scholar mayor has what it takes to beat Donald Trump.

United We Win Super PAC Announces ‘Iowa
Week of Action’ Supporting Cory Booker for President
New Jersey-based Organization to
Spend Nearly $200K on TV, Digital and Phones Next Week
SECAUCUS, NJ — United We Win, a Super PAC formed to support U.S.
Senator Cory Booker’s campaign for President through independent
expenditures, will initially spend nearly $200,000 in its “Iowa Week of
Action” program starting on Monday. The effort will include a new
television ad broadcasting in multiple Iowa media markets, targeted
digital ads throughout the state and a live call program into likely
caucus participant households. The Week of Action campaign will build
on one of the most viral moments from the recent Presidential debate,
when Senator Booker mentioned that both he and Pete Buttigeg were
Rhodes Scholar mayors running for the Democratic nomination. The
advertisement will make the case that only Senator Booker has the
experience, record and broad appeal necessary to defeat Donald Trump.
The television and digital ad titled “The Other Rhodes Scholar” is
available to view here:
“Iowa Democrats want to support a leader with a vision for our
country’s future, and a Rhodes Scholar mayor is exactly what we need —
but Cory Booker is the only one with a record of delivering real change
both in Washington and in his own community,” said Philip Swibinski,
spokesman for United We Win. “Our party needs to rally around a
candidate with a progressive platform and a pragmatic, results oriented
outlook in order to beat Donald Trump. Cory Booker exemplifies those
qualities better than any other candidate, whether they’re a fellow
Rhodes Scholar mayor or not.”
Launched earlier this month by New Jersey Democrats who know Cory
Booker’s strengths as Mayor and Senator first hand, United We Win is
independently working to build support for Senator Booker through
targeted and innovative campaign tactics. Previously, through its
independent expenditures, United We Win independently inspired
thousands of potential new donors to Booker’s campaign website with a
sophisticated digital advertising operation that helped the candidate
achieve the unique donor threshold mandated by the DNC.
