Buttigieg:
Serving
in Afghanistan, we had to be united in our mission.
After
corporate greed ripped apart the rust belt, my city had to find a way
forward.
Whenever I visit New Hampshire I hear the frustration with politics so
broken for so long.
We
keep sending politicians to Washington to fight for us, but then when
they get there, they seem more interested in the part about fighting,
than the part about us.
I'm
Pete Buttigieg, and I approved this message, to insist we tackle our
challenges together, because we have to.
Notes: This is a New Hampshire version of "Had To," which ran in Iowa from Sept. 23 (+). One line of the audio is changed and New Hampshire imagery replaces the Iowa scenes.
The
audio changes from:
Whenever I visit, I hear Iowans' frustration with politics so broken
for so long.
Whenever
I visit New Hampshire I hear the frustration with politics so broken
for so long.

America Announces First Statewide Television Ads in New
Hampshire
MANCHESTER, NH — Today, on the heels of Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s Veterans
Day policy address in Rochester and four-day bus tour across New
Hampshire, Pete for America announced “Had To” and “Unify,” the campaign’s first
television ads to air statewide in the Granite State.
The new 30-second television spots lay out Pete’s vision for a new
approach to politics. “Had To” focuses on how as
president he will bring Americans together to tackle the challenges
that Washington has ignored. “Unify”
highlights Pete’s Medicare For All Who Want It — which lowers costs,
creates real choice and ensures affordable coverage for everyone.
The
ads
will
begin
running tomorrow statewide for broadcast and digital.
