FAITH & FREEDOM COALITION VOLUNTEERS REACH 3.4 MILLION VOTERS IN TWO MILLION HOMES

Volunteers Have Visited Two Million Homes With 5 Days Left Before Mid-Term Elections

Duluth, GA – Faith & Freedom Coalition volunteers have reached 3,434,023 voters of faith at their two millionth door yesterday with five days remaining before the 2018 midterm election. As of yesterday, Faith & Freedom field team members have visited 2,020,014 homes of faith-based voters in advance of the election.

The home visits are concentrated in 21 states targeting mid-to-high propensity voters with a turnout score of 5 or above, as well as voters that data analytics have identified as evangelicals or Roman Catholics who self-identify as pro-life, pro-marriage and pro-family. Using a smartphone app that locates faith-based voters using mapping software and enhanced voter lists, a total of 2,236 volunteers and 350 paid staff operating out of 39 field offices from California to West Virginia are knocking on doors, hanging door hangers, passing out voter guides, and using customized scripts to interact with voters based on their specific issue burdens.

In addition, Faith & Freedom has reached 13.4 million voters with voter education mail, has placed 26 million digital ads on social media platforms, and is delivering 28 million emails and text messages to encourage Christian voters to go to the polls. Text messages provide voters with links to nonpartisan voter guides and mapping software that direct voters to polling locations. Faith & Freedom volunteers will also make an estimated 450,000 get-out-the-vote calls this week in a dozen key states and 32 key Congressional districts.

Jean-Marc Katzeff of Naples, Florida, a volunteer team leader in the Sunshine State whose team has knocked on over 50,000 doors in southwest Florida said, “I’m extremely proud of the work that our team has done in Florida to speak directly with a record number of voters of faith at their homes and encourage them to go to the polls. We’ve seen first-hand the enthusiasm of Christian conservatives throughout the state and fully expect them to vote on November 6th.”

“Our state and local leaders and volunteers are executing a state-of-the-art get-out-the-vote program that combines shoe leather politics with cutting-edge data analytics,” said Executive Director Tim Head. “Home visits featuring personal interaction with actual voters are the lodestone of our ground game. When we set a goal to visit two million households in 2018, I never thought we would reach it ahead of schedule. With five days to go, we will keep our foot on the gas and finish strong in reaching every voter we can and get them to the polls.”

Faith & Freedom’s 2018 voter education program is the most ambitious directed at voters of faith in a midterm election in modern political history. An estimated 181 million voter contacts will be executed by Election Day, with millions undertaken by volunteers at their church, their home-town and their neighborhood in the closing days.

FAITH & FREEDOM COALITION VOLUNTEERS REACH 1.7M VOTERS IN ONE MILLION HOMES

Volunteers Knocked on Doors of One Million Homes of Voters of Faith with 25 Days Before Mid-Term Elections

Duluth, GA – Faith & Freedom Coalition volunteers have reached 1,716,840 voters of faith at their one millionth door today. Faith & Freedom has visited 1,009,906 homes of faith-based voters in advance of the 2018 mid-term election.

The home visits are concentrated in 21 states targeting mid-to-high propensity voters with a turnout score of 5 or above, as well as voters that data analytics have identified as either evangelicals or Roman Catholics, and have self-identified as pro-life, pro-marriage and pro-family.  Using a smartphone app, 2,236 volunteers and 350 paid staff, working out of 39 field offices, are hanging door hangers, passing out voter guides, and using customized scripts to interact with voters based on their specific issue burden.

In addition, in the past two weeks Faith & Freedom has reached 13.4 million voters with voter education mail, placed 22 million digital ads on social media platforms, distributing 30 million voter guides in 117,000 churches, and will send out 13 million text messages to encourage Christian voters to go to the polls.

“Our goal is the largest turn out of evangelical and pro-life Catholic voters in a midterm election in the modern era,” said Chairman Ralph Reed. “This is the largest ground game directed at Christian voters in history, and with the Justice Brett Kavanaugh confirmation energizing millions of evangelicals we expect it to have a major impact at the ballot box.”

“Our state and local leaders and volunteers are executing a state-of-the-art get-out-the-vote program that combines shoe leather politics with cutting-edge data analytics,” said Executive Director Tim Head. “The home visits are an integral part of our ground game, and we are well ahead of schedule to surpass the goal of visiting two million socially conservative households before November 6th.”

The one millionth door knock comes on the heels of Faith and Freedom’s campaign in support of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation by the U.S. Senate, which included 4.9 million pieces of direct mail, over 500,000 peer-to-peer messages, one million emails, 985,000 digital ads placed to Christian voters in the states of swing-vote Senators, and over 85,000 phone calls placed to Senate offices from Faith & Freedom members and supporters urging Senators to vote to confirm Justice Kavanaugh.
