• Invest in our children and in their schools, their teachers, daycare and other educational programs that serve them.

• Support pay equity and comparable worth—the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment and a woman's right to choose.

• Work toward providing decent homes for all Americans.

• Preserve bilingual education and services and respect and protect the language and culture of all nationalities.

• Build a comprehensive health care system for all Americans, regardless of income or age.

• End the arms race as well as U.S. military involvement in the Third World and begin mutual cooperation and development.

• Find a cure for AIDS.

• End environmental destruction and restore the natural resources which have already been harmed.

• End unnecessary military spending and redirect our economic priorities.


Stop the importing of drugs and the exporting of jobs

Put an end to apartheid in South Africa.
