Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, niece of Marine Le Pen, the leader of France's far-right National Front (FN), addressed CPAC, espousing nationalist themes similar to those of President Trump.  She served as an MP until May 2017.  Her appearance was controversial.  For example, Daniel Hannan, a Washington Examiner columnist, is a British member of the European Parliament. penned a column on "CPAC's disastrous, misguided embrace of Marion Le Pen (>)."

Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of Breitbart London, moderated a panel on "What is the Biggest Threat to the U.S?" featuring Amb. John Bolton, American Enterprise Institute; Erielle Davidson, Hoover Institution; and Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, American Islamic Forum for Democracy.
