PENNSYLVANIA
     Nov. 6, 2018 U.S. Senate

Palm Card - 4" x 9".

LOU IS A FORMER SMALL BUSINESSMAN WITH A STRONG RECORD OF FIGHTING TO REFORM GOVERNMENT.

Lou hated politics growing up. Lou and his wife of 40  years, Mary Grace, started a small business with $29.95 and turned it into the largest of its kind in Pennsylvania. When he saw how government was getting in the way of small businesses and making it harder for people to find good-paying jobs, Lou decided to run for local office.

As Hazleton's mayor, Lou turned a $1.2 million budget deficit into a $500,000 surplus. In 2004, Lou was appointed by the White House to represent the U.S. on the U.N. Advisory Committee of Local Authorities. And in 2008, Lou was named Pennsylvania's Mayor of the Year.

Lou made national news when he took a stand against illegal immigration after a father of three was murdered in Hazleton. His accused killer was here illegally. In Congress, Lou serves on the Homeland Security Committee, where he has continued to Iead the fight to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. Lou has received awards for his work in support of after-school programs for our kids and his efforts to protect volunteer firefighters and first responders from Obamacare's costly mandates.
