Fighting for Good Jobs
Bob knows that too many families have been left behind, and is working every day to bring more jobs and higher wages to Pennsylvania. He has passed laws that have created and protected tens of thousands of jobs in each corner of Pennsylvania, including legislation to help rebuild hundreds of bridges, upgrade our waterways and revitalize the Port of Philadelphia. He also passed a tax cut to help small businesses expand and make investments.

Protecting Children, Families and Seniors
Bob always puts the interests of children, families and seniors first. On the Senate Aging Committee, Bob has worked to crack down on scams targeting seniors and worked to protect seniors in nursing homes. He also passed a new law to protect victims of sexual assault on college campuses and a law that allowed for tax-free accounts that cover expenses for children with disabilities.

Championing Access to Health Care
Bob is a champion of health care access for Pennsylvanians. Whether fighting for health care for over 22,000 retired coa! miners, improving medica! research for childhood diseases and finding new drugs for rare pediatric diseases, advocating for Alzheimer's research and protecting seniors threatened by cuts to Medicaid, Bob is the fighter Pennsylvania needs.
