You probably have heard of the career politician she is running against: Chuck Schumer. He's held public office for over 40 years. Ask yourself: has he helped America and New York for the past 18 years that he's been a U.S. Senator? Are we better off now than before? The answer is no - unless you benefit from big business, big government, big media, and big corruption.

Wendy has pledged to self-term limit and to support term limits and lobbying bans. She believes public service should be a temporary sacrifice that fellow citizens make for one another, not a career that politicians profit from for a lifetime.

We need to elect honest citizens who won't profit off of their service, who will fight for America and for New Yorkers, and regain our jobs, our education, our borders, our Constitution.

Wendy and her family
Wendy is a wife, mother and attorney. She and her husband, Arthur, live in New York City with their children, Arthur and Mado. The family loves animals and shares their apartment with their three dogs, Rosie, Abby, and Percy, the latter two of whom are rescue dogs.

Wendy is a Roman Catholic, served for years as a catechism teacher, and was a homeschooler. The family's home parish is St. Michael's Church on West 34th street in Manhattan.

About Wendy
Wendy grew up in a rural hard-working, patriotic family and was lucky to attend excellent public schools. She received her A.B. from Dartmouth College, where she became a Reagan Republican. After college she worked in family and small businesses and then for two citizen legislator U.S. Senators who were part of the Reagan Revolution.

Wendy studied law at Northwestern University School of Law and Harvard Law School, earning her J.D. from Northwestern and being admitted to the New York bar. She studied the American Founding as a Publius Fellow at the Claremont Institute.

Wendy served as a law clerk for Judge Ralph K. Winter at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second circuit in New York, and at the United States Supreme Court for Justice Clarence Thomas - two great American jurists who are faithful to the Constitution. She practiced law and became a partner in a New York City law firm. She also spent several years taking care of ailing relatives, including her mother who was paralyzed for years with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).

"America's greatness and freedom," Wendy says, "are something we enjoy because a great price has been paid by other Americans to preserve and defend them. Our first thanks must go to those who have served in our military. The rest of us can't just sit back and enjoy the fruits of those sacrifices. We have to work hard to preserve limited, just, and free government based on the founding principles of America, the greatest country the world has ever known."
