ALLEN BUCKLEY FOR U.S. SENATE
Allen Buckley, JD, CPA
Libertarian Candidate for U.S. Senate

Georgia needs a U.S. Senator who stands for:
✓    Fiscal responsibility
✓    Balanced budgets
✓    The strongest military
✓    Smart foreign policy
✓    Fair entitlement reforms
✓    A simplified tax system
✓    Ending unlawful regulations
✓    Stopping illegal immigration
✓    Free market healthcare
✓    Preserving our environment

Priorities

Allen Buckley wants to go to Washington, D.C. primarily to get the nation's financial house in order while getting Georgia's share of federal spending. Doing so will prevent a debt crisis, thus allowing our children inherit both a nation and a state that will endure.

National Debt: An Upcoming Crisis of Historical Proportions

We will soon experience a debt crisis. We now have over $19 trillion of debt. As of 2015, our debt exceeded gross domestic product for the first time since WW II. When interest rates return to normal, the situation will turn grim. Unless we turn from our current path, we will experience a financial crisis the gravity of which will exceed that of the Great Depression and WW II.

The solution is simple: Washington shouldn't spend what it doesn't have. We the people know this is the right way to run our affairs. Just like we run our households, Washington should fund its expenses with a balanced budget. That's common sense!

Buck the System

Our elected representatives, in both parties, have failed us. Democrats and Republicans vote for expensive entitlements spending money we don't have - just to get reelected. Republicans cut taxes - mostly for the rich - while paying lip service to spending cuts. And, we the people are left with a mountain of debt that our children will inherit. Can you see that the system is fundamentally broken? It is time for a new approach to government that disrupts the status quo. That is why Allen Buckley wants to buck the system.

Allen Buckley resides in Smyrna, Georgia with his wife, Ella, and their two children, Alina and Deana. Mr. Buckley is an attorney /CPA specializing in employee benefits law, business law, administrative law and tax law. His Martindale-Hubbell rating (for attorneys by attorneys) has been AV - the highest rating possible in terms of work quality and ethics, since 1996. He is a 1985 graduate of the UGA School of Law.

ALLEN BUCKLEY'S SOLUTIONS

Provide the Strongest and Smartest National Defense

The U.S. military is the strongest in the world by far. We must keep it that way. But, we must also be smart.

U.S. military spending roughly equals that of the rest of the world combined. We have approximately 800 foreign military bases in 130 countries. All other countries combined have 30 foreign bases. When a debt crisis is looming, is that smart? No.

Allen Buckley stands for reducing foreign military bases while maintaining the strongest national defense in the world by far. We can do this!

Ending Unlawful Regulations
Allen Buckley is the author of The Balance of Powers Restoration Act, a bill designed to stop unlawful and excessive regulation, by making heads of agencies potentially personally liable for abuse of their power.

Fair and Sound Entitlement Reform

It is shocking to some to learn that approximately 70 cents of every federal dollar spent goes to entitlement programs, with precious little left for ordinary government functions such as defense and infrastructure improvements. Allen Buckley recognizes that entitlements must be reformed in a manner that is fair to current beneficiaries while ensuring a secure economic future for our children and future generations.

Simplified Tax System

Allen Buckley's tax plan features a variable tax rate which is algebraically pegged to federal spending. As such, it will eliminate deficit spending for all years the U.S. is not in a recession. It is simple and understandable. It requires everyone to pay some tax. It prevents double taxation. It discourages moving jobs and corporate headquarters overseas. Most importantly, it produces balanced budgets. Allen Buckley's tax plan will force Washington politicians to spend no more than the money it has and will encourage corporations to repatriate profits and invest in jobs for Americans. Now, that's smart!

Georgia's Choice
In 2016, the choice for Georgia's U.S. Senator is simple. A vote for Johnny Isakson is a vote for a debt crisis. Johnny has voted for a mountain of debt- $7 trillion, in fact (see blue in chart).

A vote for a democrat is a vote for Johnny's mountain of debt on steroids.

This year, the smart choice is to buck the system and vote for Allen Buckley, a fiscal conservative who is also socially liberal.

Vote Libertarian and make your vote really count!
