Wrapping up the program, the
results of the straw
poll [PDF] were
announced. For 2,574 respondents, the top
three issues were election integrity (49.1%),
immigration/border wall (47.6%) and constitutional
rights (42.7%). 98.5% of respondents said
that things in the United States are on the wrong
track. 97.1% approved of the job Donald
Trump did as president, while 0.7% approved
of the job Joe Biden is doing as president.
Asked for whom they would vote in the 2024
Republican presidential primary 59.1% said Donald
Trump, 28.4% said Ron DeSantis, and all others
were at 1.5% or less. Several more candidates spoke, singer-songwriter Lee Greenwood received an award, and Donald Trump Jr. delivered the closing speech. "There's not a single success this administration has had, and yet if you look, daily, the press is fawning over them," he declared. |
