I’M ANDREW YANG,
and I’m running for President as a Democrat in 2020 because I fear for the future of our country. New technologie have already destroyed more than 4 million US jobs, and in the next 5-10 years, they will eliminate millions more. And this time, the jobs will not come back.
 
I’m not a career politician—I’m an entrepreneur who understands the economy. We need to make an unprecedented change, and we need to make it now. As president, my first priority will be to implement the Freedom Dividend, giving $1,000 a month to every American adult. And that’s just the beginning.

I’m the father of two young boys. We need to build the kind of future our children deserve—one with a human-centered economy, healthcare for all, affordable education, and a healed climate, just to start.

I urge you to join me. No one else is going to build a better world for us. We’re going to have to do it ourselves. Together.

ANDREW'S VISION FOR AMERICA
HUMAN CAPITALISM
The market should serve humanity— not the other way around.
Capitalism has led to unparalleled innovation and improvement of the human condition.  But our current version of institutional capital-ism and corporatism is a relatively recent devel-opment, and the emphasis on corporate profits isn’t working for the vast majority of Americans.

We need to move to a new form of capitalism, Human Capitalism, that’s geared towards  maximizing human well-being and fulfillment.

It’s time to change the way we measure the economy, from GDP and the stock market to a more inclusive set of measurements like median income, standard of living, life expectancy, and mental health.

THE FREEEDOM DIVIDEND
$1,000/month for every American adult, no strings attached.
Andrew would implement the Freedom  Dividend, a basic income of $1,000/month for every American adult between 18 and 64. This would enable all Americans to pay their bills, pursue education, start businesses, stay healthy, relocate for work, spend time with their children, take care of loved ones, and have a real stake in the future.

The Freedom Dividend would permanently grow the economy by 12.56 to 13.10 percent—or about $2.5 trillion by 2025—and would increase the labor force by 4.5 to 4.7 million people. Putting money into people’s hands and keeping it there would be a perpetual boost and support to job growth and the economy.

MEDICARE FOR ALL
Every American deserves quality, affordable healthcare.
America is one of the few industrialized nations that does not provide healthcare for all of its citizens. Instead, we have a private healthcare system that leaves millions uninsured and leads to hundreds of thousands of bankruptcies every year. At the same time, our cost of care is higher than in almost any other industrialized country while providing worse outcomes.

We must implement a single-payer system to ensure that all Americans receive the quality healthcare they deserve.

ANDREW ON THE  ISSUES
Reverse the damage of climate change through geoengineering • Close private prisons and reducing mass incarcaration • Legalize marijuana and expunging the federal convictions of all marijuana-related use/possession offenses • Propose common-sense gun laws, like increased education requirements and restrictions for those with a history of violence 

Appoint judges who support a woman’s right to choose • Increase availability of contracep-tion • Support a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and eliminating super PACs • And a lot more. View our website for the complete list.
