The 2020 Candidates on Twitter

Which candidates are making the most effective use of Twitter?  Who are the most prolific Tweeters, and which candidates leave the
Tweeting to aides?
Would a content analysis of candidates' Tweets show different mixes of Tweets about daily life, policy, reactions to events in the news and retweets, and can one identify different Tweeting strategies or approaches.

earlier version

Most of the campaign Twitter pages feature a medium closeup or medium head shot of the candidate.  A couple
are different: Biden has the logo, O'Rourke a family shot, Trump an extreme close up and Weld includes the
logo.  The photos are generally generic.  The Gabbard and Sanders photos include the American flag and the
Castro photo is from his announcement speech.  These images are not changed very often; thus far only the
Buttigieg image changed when he went from an exploratory to full candidate. The accompanying words provide
a bit of biography, and for more than half the candidates include some mention of family.  Several of the candidates
wedge in a bit of campaign message or "Text to."
