RNC Invests Additional $25 Million toward Midterms
Increased grassroots support boosts RNC spending to over $275,000,000

WASHINGTON — Continued support for President Trump and a recent surge in enthusiasm for GOP candidates has translated into an influx of contributions allowing the RNC to boost planned spending for the cycle from $250 million to a total of $275 million.

The RNC’s added investment will bolster expansive efforts already underway:
  • Cycle to date the RNC has placed over 550 staff in 28 key states across the country paired with over 25,000 highly trained Republican Leadership Initiative Fellows and over 250,000 volunteers
  • The resulting output has been 60 million traditional volunteer voter contacts via phone calls and door knocks as well as billions of digital and other interactions with midterm voters. The RNC has already surpassed the historic number of voter contacts done in the 2016 presidential election.
  • The RNC will dedicate nearly $10 million alone on digital GOTV efforts in the final weeks including $3 million dedicated to peer-to-peer texting.
  • The RNC has transferred an additional $3.5 million to both the NRCC and NRSC.
  • These efforts combined equal the largest mobilization ever by the RNC.
“We’re increasing our midterm commitment thanks to the support from President Trump and millions of energized Americans who want to ensure Republican majorities can continue to deliver results,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “Our investment is unprecedented because we know we must do everything in our power to defy history.”
